1. Introduction
i-medicus (“i-medicus”, “we”, “our”, “us”), is a digital healthcare platform designed to connect patients, doctors, and hospitals. Our solutions are developed in compliance with applicable Indian laws, including the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 (DPDP Act), and other healthcare IT standards.
By using our Platform, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to these Terms.
2. Our Services
2.1 Doctor Appointments & Online Consultations
- Book appointments with qualified healthcare professionals across India.
- Connect instantly via secure video and audio consultations.
- Access multilingual support for effective communication.
- Receive digital prescriptions and lab test recommendations.
2.2 Prescription & Medical Records Management
- Access patient medical records in real time.
- Securely store, retrieve, and manage medical history, prescriptions, and diagnostic reports.
We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue any Service at our discretion.
3. Account Registration
You must provide accurate, complete, and updated information during registration.
You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials and all activities under your account.
We are not responsible for unauthorized access resulting from your negligence.
4. Payments
4.1 Payment Options
Payments for services can be made using UPI, credit/debit cards, net banking, and leading digital wallets.
All transactions are processed securely through our payment partner Razorpay in compliance with applicable Indian laws and RBI guidelines.
4.2 Payment Security
We do not store your card or bank details.
All payment information is encrypted and securely transmitted through PCI-DSS compliant systems.
5. Medical Consultations & Prescriptions
All consultations are conducted by registered medical practitioners in accordance with Indian law.
Prescriptions are issued digitally and stored securely for future access.
Patients should consult their primary physician for critical medical decisions or emergency care.
i-medicus is not a substitute for in-person emergency medical services.
6. Health Records & Data Privacy
6.1 Access to Health Records
Healthcare providers can only access patient records with explicit patient consent.
Patients can withdraw consent at any time.
6.2 Data Security & Compliance
We comply with the Digital Personal Data Protection (DPDP) Act, 2023, to protect patient confidentiality and data integrity.
We will not share your data with third parties without your explicit consent, except as required by applicable law.
7. Intellectual Property Rights
All trademarks, logos, designs, and content on the Platform are the intellectual property of i-medicus.
Users are prohibited from copying, modifying, distributing, or commercially exploiting any part of the Platform without prior written consent.
8. Disclaimer of Warranties
The Platform and Services are provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis.
While we strive to maintain uninterrupted and error-free services, we do not guarantee that the Platform will always function without disruptions or delays.
9. Governing Law & Dispute Resolution
These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of India.
